19th century naval cutlass with brass hilt having wooden grip, fullered slightly curved steel blade and brass mounted leather scabbard. Overall length 71cm approx. Blade length 58cm approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
The blade is badly tarnished in places the wire binding from the grip, the scabbard is holed and marked with deep incisions in places and the brass tip appears to have been replaced.
